Who is Jon Olsson
From the X Games to the garage
Born in Mora in 1982, Jon swapped alpine racing for freeskiing at sixteen and went on to win gold at the Winter X Games. Today he builds cars, a ski park and a go-kart track at home in Sweden, and shares his builds with more than 1.5 million subscribers on YouTube.

Alcantara from roof to wheel
His current build is an Audi RS6 with more than 1,000 hp. The headliner and the steering wheel are wrapped in Alcantara, the same officially licensed Italian material as his case. “It's the first thing I do in every car,” he says.

“The way they feel makes me feel like I'm holding a nice Alcantara steering wheel. And I guess that's why I fell in love.”
“My favorite place to be in the entire world is behind the wheel of a sick car, feeling this Alcantara. Then if I have to pick up my phone, I want that to be Alcantara as well.”
“If I want Alcantara in my car, this is probably like a 50,000 euro rebuild of the interior. Whereas this Alcantara comes a lot cheaper, but still the same feel.”
